There are no designated parking spaces for the property but parking on this street is free and 9/10 you can always get parked within 25 metre of the front door.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY
Although the Roman Apartment has been a Holiday Home for many years with 'Hexham Holiday Homes', in 2022 it went through a full refurbishment to modernise the property and give it a 'home from home' feel.​

THE LOCATION (HEXHAM)
With a grocery store nearby and local transport links only 10 minutes away on foot, this fully equipped apartment is an ideal base when visiting Hexham using public transport. However, with free on street parking this does not restrict guests who will be arriving in their own vehicles.
Head out the door and find the local park only 500m away, perfect for entertaining the kids on a sunny day. Traveling further afield you can find the famous roman forts of housesteads and vindolanda only a 20 minute drive away and they are accessible via the AD122 bus service from Hexham. As per all our properties, the spectacular Northumbrian coastline and the gateway to the lake district are only 1hr away, meaning The Roman Apartment is a perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of the UK. Located on the same street as our other apartments, ‘The Hadrian’ & ‘The Abbey’ , groups of friends/family can book them together to stay close to each other whilst still enjoying the privacy of their own space.

TRANSPORT
The apartments are just a 10 minute walk from the train station and Hexham's main bus station. The nearest airport is in Newcastle which is just a short 30 minute drive away (also easily doable by metro and then train). If you wish for us to organise a taxi from the airport for you for the best rate, please just ask.
